ATP Atelier, the renowned sustainable smart luxury shoe and leather goods brand brand from Sweden, recently concluded a highly anticipated art exhibition and consumer-facing shopping experience titled “The Urban Sandal.”
The event, held from June 6-9, 2024, took place at 247 Elizabeth Street in New York City. Open to the public from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET, the Pop-Up showcased the brand’s innovative approach to sustainable fashion and attracted a diverse crowd of fashion enthusiasts and art lovers.
ATP Atelier has redefined traditional sandal styles by combining vacation versatility with sophisticated design, all while maintaining a commitment to sustainable luxury. The Urban Sandal event featured art pieces created by the ATP Atelier design team, celebrating the integration of sandals into urban environments. Highlighting core sandal lines such as Rosa, Centola, Alassio, and Furlo, the exhibition offered a unique glimpse into the brand’s artistic vision.
The event aimed to create a meaningful connection with attendees, allowing them to engage with the brand on a deeper level. A museum gift shop was also available, offering an exclusive selection of ATP Atelier styles for purchase. “We’re thrilled to have launched this exhibition, fulfilling our commitment to delivering unique experiences that celebrate footwear essentials for those living a metropolitan lifestyle. Adding a sandal style to a formal look is achievable, especially with the Rosa style. This touchpoint with our consumers is the first of many we plan for the rest of 2024 and beyond,” said Maj-La Pizzelli, co-founder and Creative Director.
Maj-La Pizzelli further expressed her excitement about ATP Atelier’s growth and mission: “ATP Atelier is a remarkable brand, and we have grown organically. Our commitment to being at the core of the Smart Luxury movement aligns with a growing trend in the fashion and lifestyle industry. We are the solution to meet this demand. I’m so excited to be a part of that.”
Since its debut on Net-A-Porter in 2014, ATP Atelier has significantly expanded in the United States. Esteemed retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman and Fred Segal have added the brand to their portfolios, solidifying ATP Atelier’s presence in the American market, now its second-largest. Remarkably, the company has achieved 100% organic growth without relying on external funding, underscoring its strong market position and consumer appeal.
