boohooMAN is set to launch first-ever premium brand with American rapper, singer, and songwriter, Gunna entitled ‘P by Gunna‘ on June 5th, 2024.
The 92-piece collection was meticulously designed and curated by Gunna and boohooMAN drawing inspiration from his everyday wardrobe. The rapper known for his fashion credibility is proud of the expansive range of RTW & impeccably crafted outerwear.
boohooMAN has a track record of partnering with influential and trendsetting figures, and Gunna is no exception. Gunna, who rose to fame with his third mixtape ‘Drip Season 3‘ and had the most streamed rap single in 2023 with ‘Fukumean’ shows no signs of slowing down. The four-time Grammy-nominated superstar has paved his way into the music industry and become a pillar of modern hip-hop music culture.
With this exciting brand collaboration, boohooMAN and Gunna are set to bring their distinctive flair to the fashion industry. ‘P by Gunna’ was born with a vision to create an inclusive premium sub-brand that will be a unisex collection and can be worn from day to night on every occasion. Ranging from a variety of sizes XS-3XL, the capsule calls out a mixture of cropped graphic tees, boxy fit jackets, jerseys, knitwear, tracksuits, and oversized denim, all inspired by proportion play silhouettes with a mix of washed vintage athleisure fits, and 70’s shaped silhouettes.
We worked closely with Gunna to create and design a unique premium sub-brand range, focusing on interchangeable higher-quality designs with heavier fabrics. His fashion authority and influence within the music industry perfectly aligns with boohooMAN’s commitment to offering streetwear ready-to-wear pieces.

The Rockstar jacket takes center stage in the collection, produced in a tumbled and textured faux leather PU with a variation of fabric panelling, applique, and rubberized badgework. All denim has been washed with silicone, giving a softer hand feel, whilst also making the pieces heavier and more premium than boohooMAN’s standard main range. The detailing on the buttons showcases the P branding in an antique silver finish for an exclusive feel, whilst offering a variety of different fits – from straight fit flare, boot cut, regular boxy fit, and nineties wide leg.
Jerseys and vests are also heavier in weight with a silicone wash giving the pieces a softer feel, then finished with a mix of techniques including acid, pigment, and spray wash for that vintage effect. Each look and placement has been carefully considered with hand-distressed and nibbled detailing to ensure each style is perfectly unique. With an expectation of the velour and burnout styles, all jerseys have been made with hundred percent cotton – giving that desired premium look and feel.
T-shirts are cut to the perfect boxy length, jackets are slim-fitting and shorter in the body, whilst knitwear is ribbed with elastane for a muscle-fit look, trailing in new shapes with a matching zip-puller jersey for an exclusive finish to tie the range together.
Showcasing a neutral color palette throughout, the capsule highlights the contrast between the dynamic pops of red and blue against the detailed and laundered over-dyed finishes, to create a sun-bleached nostalgic feel. With washed-down and sun-faded pieces, tarnished with distressed and nibbled finishes, the range incorporates a higher level of quality fabrications with attention to detail and designs – collectively showcasing items that can be worn on every occasion with a premium and high-end creative flair. Known for his unique style, both on and off the stage. This collaboration allows his fans to access his unique fashion credibility and incorporate key pieces into their wardrobe staples.
Creating ‘P STAR’ was about crafting something that felt authentic, original, and one of wun. Shot in the heart of Los Angeles, the campaign has been inspired by fashion candid paparazzi-style images with an iconic brand twist. Showcasing the versatile ‘P by Gunna’ collection throughout, the overall look nods to the early two thousand tabloids, playing on gossip culture by catching the artist in deceptively private moments and public day-to-day activities – creating natural yet highly captivating shots.
As part of this collaboration, Gunna will be working with boohooMAN to give a percentage of the proceeds to his charity ‘Gunna’s Great Giveaway’ – A cause boohooMAN is honoured to support.
