DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT
In the rising world of sustainable kitchen textiles and fashion, Park + Coop emerges as a beacon of innovation, especially for those who weave their love for the environment into every aspect of their lives, including the kitchen.
This mom-owned gem is where creativity seamlessly merges with conscience, crafting not just aprons but stories of sustainability and style.
A Story in Every Stitch
What sets Park + Coop apart is its commitment to giving old fabrics a new lease on life. With over 70% of each product made from washed, sanitized, and upcycled materials-primarily locally sourced denim-this brand is a testament to the beauty of reinvention. Each apron, table linen, and fashion accessory not only adds a unique flair to your home but also tells a tale of minimized waste and maximized creativity.
Cooking and baking are big parts of our family life. When I tried to find sustainable children’s aprons that my daughters and I would both love I was disappointed by the options. I wanted something environmentally friendly, without ties that always seem to come undone, and that looked fashionable without sacrificing function. I finally decided to create my own and Park + Coop was born.

Designed with Thought, Crafted with Care
Features such as machine washability and easy closures on children’s aprons (say goodbye to frustrating ties!) make these products as practical as they are stylish. The brand’s portfolio, best known for its market bags, aprons, two-sided placemats, and craft sleeves, reflects a deep understanding of modern family needs. These offerings are not only about sustainability but also about introducing a sense of fashion-forwardness into the daily routines of cooking, baking, and even gardening.
For Every Occasion and Every One
Park + Coop’s range is as diverse as it is innovative, catering to an array of occasions from Earth Day to Valentine’s, Galentine’s Day, and beyond. Their mommy-and-me aprons and gender-neutral styles emphasize inclusivity, while their recycled denim bag is a fashion statement transcending traditional kitchenware.
A Mission with Heart and Soul
Behind Park + Coop’s success is a simple yet powerful mission: to rescue textile waste from landfills and transform it into something beautiful and functional. The genesis of this brand stems from a mother’s quest for sustainable children’s aprons that didn’t compromise on fashion or functionality. The journey led to an epiphany-the potential of fabric waste as a resource rather than refuse-and thus, Park + Coop was born.
With designs infused with a cool Brooklyn vibe courtesy of sister Amyliz, and the practicality of Minnesota craftsmanship, the brand has carved a niche for itself. From tea towels to napkins and market bags, the diversity of products showcases Park + Coop’s commitment to reducing fabric waste through premium, well-designed goods.
In the world of Park + Coop, every product is a piece of sustainable, stylish storytelling waiting to be part of your home. Join the movement and let these beautifully upcycled creations not only adorn your living spaces but also narrate your commitment to a greener, more sustainable world.
Park + Coop isn’t just selling kitchen and home accessories; it’s inviting you to be part of a movement. A movement that celebrates sustainability without sacrificing style, and one that recognizes the kitchen as a canvas for creative and conscious expression. Carmen Olsen and her team invite you to embrace this culinary adventure with open arms and a willing heart.
