Creative Director- Claire Pettibone is opening a flagship salon in the heart of Manhattan, New York.
Opening April 5th 2024, the boutique will showcase the complete range of gowns and accessories displayed in a whimsical romantic penthouse floor filled with lush florals and vintage heirlooms.
The self-described true romantic, Claire Pettibone brings a deeply feminine sensibility and unique artistry to her collection of ethereal, vintage-inspired wedding gowns. Bold use of color and motif, luxurious attention to detail, and timeless romanticism are her signatures. For the fine-art bride longing to express her personal sense of style, the designer offers a poetic vision of breathtaking beauty.
Claire has been a force in bridal since her very first runway show in NYC, pushing the traditional boundaries of the industry. The designer will be incorporating some of the signature details of her LA flagship set in a castle into the design of the NY space, such as her signature mural, which is based off of a landscape painting from the 1700’s, silk florals, and vintage touches.
I love to tell a story with every collection, and I approach interiors in the same way. I want my brides to have a dream-like experience finding their gown, and we can’t wait to bring some ethereal magic to our East Coast clients.

To celebrate the grand opening, the designer will host a Trunk Show April 5-7 and will be on hand to personally style brides by appointment on April 5th and 6th. Located in the Brenley Building at 243 W. 30th Street, the 12th floor penthouse salon is housed within Nicole Bridal NYC who will showcase the designer’s full collection permanently going forward.
Our brides get married in Italy, France, city lofts, vintage estates, outdoor gardens, beaches and backyards – the full gamut of styles and stories, but what they have in common is a desire for their wedding dress to be unique, artful, and to really capture their personal style. I am so excited to meet our New York brides, to hear about their weddings, and to help them define and express their vision.

“The first wedding I ever attended at the age of 4, was at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and it made such an impression on me that I came home and started drawing brides in flower-covered dresses. Looking back, I guess you could say I was destined to become a bridal designer! And now it feels like it’s all coming full circle bringing the collection to New York – the place I consider my second city. Growing up, I spent summers here with my dad, and the energy of this place is like no other” says Claire Pettibone.

The daughter of artist parents, Claire Pettibone followed her own creative path by studying fashion at Otis Parsons School of Design, and began her career designing lingerie. A few years later, Claire met her future husband Guy Toley, and the pair began dreaming of starting a business together while planning their wedding. Those first years were a whirlwind for the young couple as they launched the Claire Pettibone brand in 1994 as a start-up from their living room. The collection quickly became a worldwide success, and they moved production out of their house into a fairy-tale-come-true atelier in Los Angeles and are thrilled to be bringing the collection to New York.
