Fashion designer René Ruiz was born in Cuba and immigrated to the United States at an early age. He settled in Miami, a place that was very influential in his formative years.
After opening his first atelier in the fashionable South Florida enclave of Coral Gables in the 90s, Ruiz quickly became the go-to designer for celebrities and socialites.
