Heritage footwear brand partnered with young Dutch designer for new collaboration.
Clarks Originals and Amsterdam-based fashion designer Daniëlle Cathari have teamed up for their first-ever collaboration.
Known for her playful femininity and subversive take on classic designs, Cathari brings her creative vision to a legendary Clarks Originals silhouette, reworking the Wallabee in 7 fresh new shades.
For the campaign, Cathari – a regular Wallabee-wearer – styled the collection with her own wardrobe, combining the shoes with a range of different looks to showcase their limitless versatility.
The Wallabee
A truly timeless style with unique design details and an ever-expanding fanbase, the Wallabee has been a mainstay of the footwear scene since its launch in 1968. Hand-stitched moccasin uppers give the shoe its distinctive look and enhanced flexibility, while natural crepe soles boost all-day comfort.
As a frequent Wallabee wearer, it would only make sense to partner with Clarks Originals on a first footwear collab. Since the shoe is such a wardrobe staple, I wanted to create 7 unique colorways in my very own color palette – one for each day of the week.

For this collab, Cathari reimagines the Wallabee as a subtly deconstructed wardrobe staple – using both the front and back of Clarks Originals’ premium English suede to play with textures and create asymmetry. From pared-back neutrals to unexpected hues, Cathari has created a pair for every day of the week in an authentic and enduringly stylish color palette.
Matching leather keyholders, inspired by the Clarks Originals fobs, round out the collection.
Available in blue, brown, forest green, pale green, pink, purple and red.
