A tribute to nature, to its strength, to the wonder it gives us, to the harmony it offers us, to the respect we owe her.
Pontetorto’s Fashion division unveils the artistic vision behind the Spring/Summer 2024 Collection, paying homage to the profound messages conveyed by nature, the inherent harmony it exudes, and the contemplative exploration of its diverse symbols and languages.
This collection embraces the essence of materiality, celebrating its vibrant palette and evocative hues, symbolizing a seamless fusion of nature’s inspiration with artistic expression.
This collection emphasizes intricate weaving techniques and explores extreme structures, creating a visually and tactilely engaging experience. The designs within this collection go beyond conventional patterns and instead incorporate micro patterns and tonal effects, adding depth and complexity. The textures of these fabrics are delicate yet firm, striking a balance between subtlety and strength. They possess a distinct character that sets them apart and can be used to create garments.
Fabrics with aspects ranging from clean to mottled, with sustained and compact weights side by side with light and fluid ones, always enhanced by the brightness of man-made fibers that contrasts with the opacity and gentleness of natural fibers.
The color palette ranges from naturals, white and caramel, to sands and cloud gray, from sorbets, such as melon and lime, with a delicate intensity, side by side with lavender, to the strength of sunflower to the serenity of light blues and midnight blues to end in black/white declined in a reassuring summer tweed.
On the jersey fabric side, hemp rediscovers elegance, interwoven with linen for interlock and roma stitches. More textural weaves bring out the true soul of linen in écru dyes, delicate and precious. Compact weaves are made using an innovative technique that combines premium nylon with natural yarn for fashion and function of pure excellence.
The theme developed on synthetic fabrics includes the range of jacquard and ultralight nylon items, made with exaggerated finesse. A customizable proposal in jacquards on knits. Viscose acquires silky, enveloping and delicate hands, enhanced in crepe versions.
Cottons are sophisticated and include new sweatshirts made with roving and textured, where lurex, twisted and patterned yarns are expertly blended to recall the classic leno.
Overall, this collection aims to envelop the viewer or wearer with its conceptual and embracing qualities, leaving a lasting impression.
