Fashion Designer Vaishali Shadangule presented her exclusive Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022/23 Collection at the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
Vaishali Shadangule draws inspiration from her ability to observe and listen, allowing her designs to speak for themselves. Born in the small town of Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, Vaishali realised her passion at a very young age and has been experimenting with hand-woven textiles and designs for almost two decades now. A creative powerhouse, the designer also extends her work with textiles to art and design.
Vaishali’s intervention ranges from working with the weavers at the loom directly on the fabric composition by exploring and enhancing the qualities of textile to bringing design changes with modern aesthetics. This personalisation on the construction level hones and enhances the craft at a generic, holistic level.

VAISHALI S, an eponymous brand, is borne out of designer Vaishali Shadangule’s genuine affection and passion for the classic Indian weaves. Working with authentic woven textiles, perennially telling a culturally-rich tale about the country’s heritage, the brand has endeavoured to lend the Indian handloom weave a global design language of expression since March 2001.
