The International Design Awards (IDA) has kicked off its 12th annual design competition with a call to visionary designers and architects from around the world, both professional and amateur, to submit their most innovative designs for consideration for this prestigious award

The early-bird deadline for submissions is August 31, 2018. Entries submitted by this date are eligible for a 10% discount on submission fees.

Designers will submit their work in the following categories: Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, and Fashion Design.

Entries to the competition are peer-reviewed and anonymously judged by an influential jury panel of experienced academics and established design industry professionals whose mandate is to recognize and award the very best designers from all countries in all disciplines. Each Jury member brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to the table and, with their combined insight and votes, the final winners in each category will be selected.

A stellar array of prizes and incentives are given to the winners of the IDA competition. The winner of the prestigious title “Design of the Year” in each of the 5 main design disciplines (professional and amateur) will be honored at the bi-annual IDA Awards Winners event to be held in Los Angeles or New York in 2019, (details to be announced) where they will be awarded the coveted IDA trophy and their winning works will be shown in a special exhibition. Winners will also receive the IDA Winner Certificate and Seal, publication of their winning design in the IDA Annual Book of Design, promotion of winning works to our global media network and press partners, promotion of winning designs on the IDA website Winners Page, and much more.

Since it’s founding in 2007, the International Design Awards has made it their mission to celebrate and promote visionary design around the world, and over the past 11 years the IDA symbol has come to represent the very highest standard in design over multiple disciplines, as thousands of architects and designers from all over the world have entered their work, bringing their most outstanding projects to an international audience.

In its 11th annual competition, IDA received over 3,100 designs submitted by companies and designers from 95 countries and hundreds of entries were selected for awards, prizes, and received international recognition for their superb achievements.
