The Lebanese and Brazilian contemporary fashion brand, AAVVA, founded by Ahmad Ammar and Vincenzo Visciglia in 2006 has launched their first ever Resort Collection “AAVVA Dress Series”. Comprising of 14 looks that showcase a glimpse of the SS17 Collection, the new range embarks on a unique route while keeping constant with the AAVVA philosophy of simplicity combined with artistic fashion.

Color blocks with embroidery, mermaid silhouettes, detailed architectural cuts and a blend of colors, “AAVVA Dress Series” is set to strike the likes of the modern and stylish women of today. Having said to be inspired from red carpet looks and the statement gowns, the Resort Collection is the perfect mix of stylish fabrics, bolder color palette and the true definition of the AAVVA element.

With visible matching yet contrasting flare, the pieces are made using a combination of neoprene, crepes and contemporary stretch material that are not only easy to wear but also easy to maintain. Such finesse incorporating textures with details done in silk trimming and silk tussles while mixing in the Swarovski beads in a way that compliments the body and establishes a strong feminine theme. A good use of crystals, pearls and fringes that works up on silhouettes that give flare to the shoulders, definitely more hot and exciting, each of the dresses is created to compliment the female body.

With design and fashion taking on to another level, the range is further detailed with graphic and ultra-modern embroidery that exhibits minimalistic vibes culminating modernity and the kind of progressive look that the designers want to bring about based on their architectural backgrounds.

The Brazilian side to AAVVA, Vincenzo Visciglia expressed his views on the production of these carefully styled pieces, “This Resort Collection is one with more structured architecture silhouette. We wanted to portray pieces that ranged from statement simplicity going up to the shining gowns. “AAVVA Dress Series” translating into an all-round collection for the woman wanting to feel that extra special anytime she dons a piece.”

A rise and fall of hues that continues in this collection, the vibrant palette with profound greens and purples lead the subtle tones of off-whites, beiges and nudes. Giving us an insight into their SS17 Collection, expressing the theme of the upcoming range from the stylish fashion house, AAVVA designer Ahmad Ammar said, “We believe fashion is beyond an outfit.
