Showers Pass has revealed two new additions, Short Sleeve and Sleeveless versions, to their existing line of Body-Mapped Baselayers, with increased color and size options to compliment all active lifestyles.
The Body-Mapped Baselayer has been designed to meet all activity levels and ensure a constant state of comfort through changing weather conditions. Showers Pass hasadjusted the fiber combination since the first release of the Long Sleeve Body-Mapped Baselayer.
The inclusion of Coolmax provides a softer, more breathable, and better moisture wicking garment. Constructed with 10% Merino Wool, it is just enough to reduce stink associated with 100% man-made baselayers. In addition, the combination of Spandex, Modal, and Nylon delivers a super soft feel, flexibility and durability to the shirt that won’t stink after wearing or shrink after washing.
“Our first push into the baselayer market with our Long Sleeve Body-Mapped Baselayer was a great success,” says Kyle Ranson, president of Showers Pass. “Our customers love the soft feel, trim fit and moisture wicking performance of our Body-Mapped Baselayers. The Short Sleeve and Sleeveless version are designed for layering under a jersey on those crisp clear days when extra thermal protection for your core is needed.”
Showers Pass brings the venting design on their jackets is mirrored in the Body-Mapped Baselayer’s open knit pattern in the areas people sweat the most – under the arms and down the middle of the back. This allows excess heat to escape from these areas more quickly for a comfortable and dry fit. Adopting techniques from pieces from their line, multiple knit patterns are achieved without adding seams along the torso, via a circular knitting machine, originally designed for making socks.
Features:
• Body-mapped with open knit pattern designed to vent excess body heat from your sweatiest areas
• Seamless torso construction for maximum comfort
• Short Sleeve and Sleeveless versions perfect for layering
• Extra wide comfort hem
• Long torso length for coverage on the bike
• Raglan sleeves for freedom of movement
• Fiber mix: 38% Modal, 27% Coolmax, 22% Nylon, 10% Wool, 3% Spandex
