Fall/Winter 2016/2017 Brings Temperley Sirens to London.
Tattoo inspired applique, stitch and sequin embroidery on outerwear, day and evening wear styled with boyish bow-necked shirts, ruffle cuffs and lace trims.
Capes layered over delicate dresses and fine needlecord tailoring with frogging details in soft powder blues and heady cinnamons. Ice grey military inspired coats and jackets paired with feminine, diaphanous separates.
Winter 2016 brings Temperley Sirens to London. Inspired by pirates who preyed on the traders of the spice route: their tattoos of victories, loyalties and loves, plus the mermaids who beguilded all before them with their dishevelled beauty… all this with a hint of Hendrix.
– Alice Temperley, MBE
Layered, modern jacquard knitwear with fringed detailing sit alongside rich file-coupe jacquards both in stormy greys, mauves and unexpected pops of lime green.
The nautical tattoo theme crescendos into fluid, exaggerated print dresses and an array of mermaid inspired cocktail and evening pieces. Raw edged layered tulle ruffles, ribbon embroidery, iridescent sequins and sheer mesh applique for understated opulence.
