EDITOR’S PICK | What we are loving today!
Jay Mohler is an artist, a weaver of Ojo de Dios* Mandalas and he’s been crafting these spiritual artworks since 1960s.
*(Eye of God in Spanish)
By using yarns and sticks, Jay Mohler creates colorful textile art pieces.
While wrapping yarns from one stick to another, he makes diamond and star shaped designs.
He uses great color combinations to create his exclusive artworks.
Currently he’s mostly weaving 12-sided designs, which create both unique beauty and greatly expanded possibilities compared to his former 8-sided designs.
Every piece is unique and genuinely hand made by Jay Mohler and you can buy both his custom order finished pieces and design kits on his Etsy store.

Since then I’ve evolved my own work to 12-sided designs that I believe encompass patterns of many beliefs around the world. – Jay Mohler.
