[London], January 25, 2014 - For the Salvatore Ferragamo Autumn/Winter 2014 menswear collection, fashion designer Massimiliano Giornetti chose to focus on the tactile dimensions of fabric and the quality of tailoring to create a highly accomplished range of garments for the contemporary urban male that highlights the importance of traditional manufacturing processes and sartorial heritage. |

To achieve his underpinning concept, Giornetti engendered clean silhouettes expressed through strong outerwear that included rug weaves on jackets and coats, blanket fringes hidden in the yolk of lining, and belted dressing gowns reinterpreted as overcoats.
