| I think Mary Katrantzou should sit down with Jonathan Saunders and have a chat. He started out as a brand that was famous for its prints, overcame the fact the he is a print designer (and NOT a fashion designer), and has managed to run a pretty decent business (although I'll admit his clothes aren't exactly worth writing home about.) Katrantzou is in a similar position. She has overdone the highly detailed multicoloured prints and is now trying to attempt something new, which isn't highly successful, and I blame this on the fact that she is a print designer and not a fashion designer....read more |
