I can't help but love Roberto Cavalli right now because I am reading (well, skimming) his blog and he is quite cute. He talks about his life as if it is normal, which it clearly is not. Fendi
I am always amazed when I see shapes and silhouettes that have been done many times before, look totally new. That's what this Fendi show was about, a study of proportion, silhouette, and shape, which evolved throughout the show. Gucci
Unimpressed was my general feeling of this Gucci show. It wasn't super bad, but I just couldn't get into the brocade fabrics and the medieval references. Plus, there was far too much of my pet peeve: nipples on show. I think if we broke down the looks into individual pieces, we'd have some nice stuff. But the runway outfits did not win me over...read more |
