Dolce and Gabbana
It seems like ornate fabrics and heavy embellishment is a big trend on the Milan catwalks (Versace's crosses, Bottega's chunky brooches, and Gucci's brocades) so Dolce and Gabbana's black and gold religious garb fit right in. Some of it worked, and some of it didn't, but I'd say there were far more winners than losers in this show. Versace
I hoped that this Versace collection would be better than their couture fiasco, but alas, not. The gothic theme was pretty tacky, and resembled something a goth fashion student would try and produce. The strapless bustiers with the high, rounded necklines were super unattractive, even on the most beautiful women in the world...read more |
