J. W. Anderson's last collection featured a lot more ideas and innovation than this recent show. In fact, this show resembled the so-so attempts of a London designer to do Belgian or Japanese. Although I am usually slightly sickened by the overload of cool blatantly present in every Acne show, there is no denying they make some really nice clothing. But they can also take things a bit far, for example, with the pants in this collection, and the very outdated wide belts...read more |
