EDITH A'GAY 'measure' Collection : Autumn/Winter 2006/2007 |

Edith A'gay´s fashion is an architecture for the human body based on geometric principles through material selection and refined cut pattern, right up to a reduced rate of stitches.
The silhouettes are completed with fine shadings, loose hanging ribbons, and lines in bright colors. The pieces of the collection are the visible moments in this process. This kind of design built on the minimalist formula characteristic for Edith A'gay, responds to the requirements of our time - "wearable" fashion and individual everyday usability.
The new autumn / winter collection 'measure' is based on the experience between real life and dreams of reality. Urban fiction: people find themselves in different situations spontaneously deciding;
"Am I a voyeur or am I a participant in the process?" This surreal accident like Dadaism, without prior notice, leads us to experience a dream of reality.
The materials are: silk, wool, Lycra, chiffon, all in basic colors: black, white, and combined with silver, old gold, cherry red and bilious green. These fabrics are manufactured in Austria by Jil Silk in cooperation with the designer herself. The garments are produced in Hungary in high quality by a manufacturer of long tradition and outstanding experience. These products are high quality products – made in Europe.
