You have seen her pieces in Vogue, Lucky, Hello!, Flare, Glamour, People Style Watch, Holts Style, The Toronto Star and The Globe & Mail and on Donna Karan, who features her line in her Urban Zen shop in New York.
Now you can find all her designs -- even her handbags and house wares -- in her one-month pop-up store at 386 Huron St. at Sussex Ave.
Part workshop, part gallery space, this elegant 1875 building is the former site of Chelsea Shop antique emporium, situated in an un-frenzied residential Toronto street close to Spadina and Bloor. The pop-up will be open to December 22, just in time for holiday gift giving or to kick up that little black dress a notch. There will also be key rings and gift items for men. Prices start at $40.
Watch Dandi handcraft her latest designs while you try to absorb the mind-boggling collection of unique, exciting and exotic pieces, made exclusively for this shop. Or Dandi can create your very own custom piece. Her newest collection is called "Adornment as Mask".
"Masks are powerful magical tools, one of the tools of transformation," explains Dandi. "A mask helps us change what we are into what we want to be."
Pop-up Store Hours are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday from 12 noon to 6 p.m. or by special appointment.
